I have already applied over 100+ jobs since I came here on 20th March.

But it is rare to get any feedback except for some rejections.

I've never doubted my own capability and excellence, and I firmly believe I can find a job eventually, I have to get through it.

Especially I want to make some complain about the speed of recruting process here, I guess I'll have a job when I turn to 80 years old.

In that case, Ireland is always a weird country to me.

It is a rich country(according to the data), but there are so many homeless roaming on the street.

Teenagers and criminals are everywhere.

I have 3 things to share:

1. Brassy Homeless:

I still remember there was a time when I was talking with my friend outside of a pub, a homeless just came over and she asked for some changes.

My friend was in a good mood, so he gave her some changes.

The homeless lady received changes, but she was also pissed off.

I was wondering why she is so mad until she said: I have children to feed, give me more.

That was absolutely creepy for me: how brassy she is!

2. Robbery:

Many days ago(April, 2026), I travelled to London and stayed there for a while, like 2 weeks.

When I came back to Ireland, my roommate told me he was robbed by 3 men with black masks, almost in front of the gate of our house.

I am living in Clontarf, which is even considered a very nice and safe place to live by some local Irish people.

But it happened, They just rode the motorcycle and followed my roommate while he's riding an electric scooter.

Luckily my roommate was safe and nothing was robbed by those guys.

3. Random Assault:

This is about one of my classmates during my master at Trinity College Dublin.

He is Chinese, and he came back to Ireland and prepared to participate in our graduation ceremony after we finished all exams.

But just one day before the ceremony, he was hit by a stranger on the street, the stranger just beat him.

He didn't expect that at all, the stranger just pushed him on the ground from his back, and got his bones broken, then the stranger just fled the scene.

Call the Garda(Police), but it doesn't work.

They can not track the criminal since they don't have any clues.

So my classmate went to the hospital and stayed there for days, with no help...

Sometimes I genuinely wonder where all the tax money goes.

But why do I stay here?

One of my friends from Ukraine travelled to China and he asked me this question when he came back.

I don't really know what is a proper answer for it.

At the bottom of my heart, Ireland definately has a lot of advantages as a country.

I've been thinking about this question for a long long time, so I do have some ideas now.

I think it is because of my "adventurous spirit".

I am 24 years old(2026), I still think I need to go further and further, to explore the wider world.

Maybe someday I'll also leave Ireland, and head to another place in the future.

Even I have a decent job here, as long as I make my decision, I'll quit my job for sure.

Life is limited, why should I obsess too much over the destination

The world is unlimited, the Moon or the Mars probably can also be my desitination in my life.

I never feel down — in fact, I feel really motivated about my future.

Never underestimate myself.

Donald Trump visited China with a business delegation that included the heads of Nvidia, Tesla, Meta, and other major companies.

It’s truly an impressive scene — the leaders of China and the United States, the two most powerful countries in the world, sitting down peacefully to negotiate and communicate with each other.

Moments like this make me wonder how wonderful the world could be if humanity really became one global village.

Maybe we would have already gone even further than landing on the moon.

Hope for world peace.

I find the job market in Ireland is disappointing. Luckily, I don't need to worry a lot about it because I currently have my savings and stocks to spend.

But some of my friends are leaving Ireland, I feel very down about that.

So I plan to have a long trip in next couples of weeks in Europe.

And I'll also update my blog weekly.
